Тут она задумывается о судьбе индийских божеств - в людском воплощении и те не сумели спасти свой брак.
Историю Ситы рассказывают 3-и индуса, которые тщетно пытаются вспомнить все детали забытого ещё в детстве эпоса: ну, это как если бы мы пытались пересказать иностранцу «Слово о полку Игореве». Для 4-х частей рассказа (оригинальных отрывков из "Рамаяны", музыкальных вставок, истории Ситы, пересказанной современными словами, и истории создательницы мультфильма) - 4-е анимационные техники: от классической рисованной до современной компьютерной. Фильм - идеальное пособие по тому, как всего в 2-х измерениях просто, легко, без всякого 3D построить целую мультвселенную.
Такой же многоплановостью отличается и музыкальное сопровождение. Основную музыку к фильму написал Todd Michaelsen, джазовые композиции звучат в исполнении Rudresh Mahanthappa, им же и написанные. Разумеется, не обошлось и без традиционной индийской музыки, переработанной и исполненной несколькими современными музыкантами. Но самые замечательные в фильме, конечно, блюзы, которые время от времени исполняет богиня Сита, голосом очень популярной в 20-е годы певицы Annette Hanshaw.
