Поясняю... возможно вы знакомы с топиком, где рассматривались местные (локальные) сцены различных стран - https://rutr.life/forum/viewtopic.php?t=2485962 . Так вот по отношению к Великобритании (вышло так, что на данный момент.. практически только про Англию) я решил действовать иначе и значительно шире. То есть рассмотреть музыкальную сцену (историю) данного региона в контексте ямайских жанров на всём этапе (начав с истоков вообще музыкальной культуру Англии - довольно коротко). Безусловно, что данный текст постоянно развивается, ибо каждый день получается узнавать что-то новое и дополнять, но на данном этапе.. это фактически завершённый вариант.. с общеизвестными фактами, где-то ОЧЕНЬ уникальными фактами и т.п. Постарался чтобы было вам интересно и познавательно. Однако... возможны неточности, ошибки и прочее - ибо из-за работы "только вперёд" - мог забывать корректировать некоторые детали.
Хочется попросить, чтобы вы комментировали и высказывали своё мнение на данную работу (если конечно.. сможете прочесть хотя бы первую часть). Очень интересно ваше мнение; Возможно.. где-то я не прав - буду рад обсудить это.. Вообщем я жду множество вопросов\мнений\комментариев и т.п. Сразу скажу, что вторая часть гораздо радикальнее в плане "обычности" - там гораздо больше новых идей и взглядов.. хотя такого хватает и здесь.

Как "реклама" -> вторая часть является прямым продолжением первой и рассматривает обозначенный спор "звучания" (британский ска или британский реггей?). Там очень подробно я стараюсь описать локальную сцену с 1978 года по британским коллективам, добавлявшим ямайскую музыку в больших количествах (а это рождение 2-tone records и множество других интересных фактов). Рабочее название второй части -> "British Punky Rocksteady vs British Ska Revival". Последующие части будут касаться аналогичных "временных отрезков" и рассмотрением их вплоть до наших дней (и соответственно спец. углубления в наиболее серьёзно отразившиеся события или просто любопытные - такие как 2-tone records, lovers rock, uk style и многое другое). Под конец будет написан мой взгляд на современную сцену британского региона в ска\реггей жанрах (уклон в ска будет, ибо реггей-сцена достаточно обширна и слишком субкультурна... чтобы о ней писать коротко; а черезчур подробно наверное не выйдет).
Да, что касается название данного топика... "Top Dog" - устойчивое выражение в английском языке, которая означает и объединяет суть следующих слов "лидер, босс, лучший, глава" (которые используются абсолютно во всех сферах).

Будьте внимательны... около некоторых артистов\песен (в конце - правый вверх - можно встретить такой символ *) пометку - это означает, что линк идёт на youtube, где можно послушать и оценить звук (иногда это очень важно для осмысления написанного).Здесь можно узнать, кто был первым из первых; как попали ямайские ритмы в Англию; что было популярно и как становился популярным реггей\ска саунд. И старался писать так, чтобы каждый последующий текст был понятен из-за прочтения предыдущего (соответственно понять вторую чатсь будет гораздо легче после прочтения первой, ибо довольно частые сноски к тексту выше).

Мало, но зато они есть и точно будут в каком-то смысле (ибо дискография), наврядли целую дискографию будут удалять с диска (а вот одиночный альбом - могут).
