Об альбоме (сборнике)
Following "Manayachana" (2014), "My Letter to the World" (2016), "Chance Monsoon" (2017), "Diamond Dust" (2018), "Zawazawa" (2019 / Winner of the 2019 Record Academy Award for Best Contemporary Music), "Turtle Totem" (2020), "Glorious Clouds" (2021), and "Aquarius" (2022), the latest album featuring works by London-based composer Dai Fujikura has arrived this year. Once again, Fujikura's vast musical world unfolds with a rich variety of instruments from all times and places, both Western and Eastern, including viola, percussion, clarinet, shakuhachi, biwa, double bass, shamisen, violin, fortepiano, and mandolin. As with his previous works, Fujikura himself handled the editing, mixing, and mastering, pursuing the sound that the composer envisioned. This release coincides with the "Bonkuri Fest," a contemporary music, or rather, modern music festival curated by Dai Fujikura, which will be held in July 2023 for the seventh time.
