American Music
Независимый американский джазовый лейбл, основанный в 1944 году William Russell (известным также как Bill Russell) в New Orleans. Лейбл сыграл важную роль в сохранении и популяризации традиционного новоорлеанского джаза в период его возрождения в середине XX века и специализировался на записях музыкантов новоорлеанского джаза. Выпускал как новые записи, так и переиздания редких исторических материалов. Считается одним из важнейших лейблов для документирования раннего джаза. Благодаря работе Расселла были сохранены записи многих музыкантов, которые иначе могли бы остаться неизвестными широкой аудитории. Каталог лейбла позже переиздавался различными компаниями, а с конца 1980-х годов его записи выпускала группа Jazzology Records.
