Чилийская группа Undercroft, действующая с 1991 года, в 2000 году переехала в Stockholm, Sweden, а несколько лет спустя - в Hamburg, Germany. Начало деятельности Undercroft ознаменовано появлением их двух первых демозаписей "To Final The Battle" и "The Pioneer One" (про эту демку мне ничего не известно. Прим.), вышедших в мае 1993 года. Затем вышла "Demons Awake Revenge Is Near (Месть Близка)" в ноябре того же года. Это привело их к выходу дебютного альбома "Twisted Souls", который был записан в 1995 году.
