I extracted from winrar to "new folder" and while installing I had the same problem.

It is not allowing selection. I checked item by item, the update list has my products only. And I'm using Ansys Forming 2026R1 lic file. Setup says " WARNING: Licensing files currently installed are more recent than those on the installation media. The files will not be installed and will be deselected.... " Ansys Forming lic file date : 20.03.2026 , Ansys Products lic file date : 28.02.2026. Maybe this is problem. PS: I tried with both lic. It gives same media problem.

As far as for SP1 installer asked for " Enter the installation directory: #2" This is a developer bug. They forgot to include the files of disk labels 261-2.dvd -- 261-12.dvd in the archive. Try the following: in the unzipped archive ANSYS_2026R1.01_WINX64.zip Make 11 copies of the file 261-1.dvd with the names 261-2.dvd -- 261-12.dvd Open them in a text editor and change the text from 1 to 2 through 12, respectively Save files 261-2.dvd -- 261-12.dvd and launch update
