The addition of Claire Fischer on keyboards and Bill Fitch on percussion wakes Tjader up to a slightly different Latin Jazz feel that really excites the senses. You can feel the excitement in the material where you will replay this cd over and over again. Tjader is truly the master of the new west coast Latin jazz movement and this adds tremendously to it.
A fine example of Latin Jazz from the USA, recorded in 1963. Claire Fischer plays organ on six of the ten tracks, in the style of Brazil's Walter Wanderley. He sounds more relaxed - and more effective -on the four tracks on which he goes to the piano.
