The founder of 8kHz Mono, Krister Hessling, has been making electronic music in various shapes and forms since the early 80s. In 2001 he wanted to explore other flavours in the electronic field and started to produce a melodic variety of EBM.
The following year he drafted Henrik and Joachim to join him on stage, and they released the demo CD “Monolog E.P” by their own accord. A record deal was soon to follow and work began on the debut album “Monochromator” which was released in 2004 on Progress Productions.
Early 2008 Janina joined the band to boost the energy of their already energetic live shows with her electronic drums, and at the moment work is in full progress to finish their new studio album.
