This is by far the best Punk Rock box set to date. It doesn't fawn over the old classic Pistols and Clash but covers Slaughter and the Dogs, Eater, Johnny Thunders and 999 amongst many. It's a 10 CD time bomb with each disc themed covering Indie, Extreme, Protest, Live classics and even some fantastic piss taking cover versions. Many of these I first heard on John Peel which makes the set all the more special. Third generation bands like Vice Squad , GBH and The Partisans are covered alongside one of the most understated Punk songs of all times The Samples Dead Hero. The set is fairly pricey but if your looking for a gift for someone who loves Punk then this will not only blow their mind but blow the house roof off. I cannot speak highly enough of it. It also includes a very informative booklet penned by Steve Baldwin of Vice Squad who knows his stuff. A classic 160 punk festival.
