The band was founded in 2005 by Michael Crimson, Balzael and Pollo, and some weeks later the guitarist Quadro joined. We started as a Metallica cover band, than we began to write our own songs. October 2007: Pollo leaves and Hassan joins. With this formation (Crimson, Balzael, Quadro, Hassan) in June 2008 we record a demotape by Duna Studios in Russi. In september 2008 Quadro leaves and in his replacement Stanley Bleese joins the band. Rising Dark have finally found a stable formation and play a lot of live gigs, in september 2009 we had the honour to be the opening act for Grim Reaper and Praying Mantis, together with Rain, our dear friends Neurasthenia, and Asgard! In 2010 we played two gigs with Pino Scotto. We are about to release our first album, which will be called APOCALYPTIC!!! In March 2011 Hassan leaves the band and Freddy Blade joins in.
