Interesting and hard hitting debut album by this french project, and a good pick from Tokyo's Murder Channel. "Offrande 1,697" combines the tempo and heavy bass of dubstep (think of Niveau Zero's kind) with screamed vocals and angry guitars (think Drumcorps, but played rather than sampled) for a collection of very intense, aggressive tunes that have the progressive side of breakbeat but can appeal very easily to anybody into grindcore. It's a tough piece to chew at first, but gets you once you make the effort to dive into this album, and it really pushes the combination of these two genres to levels I hadn't heard so far.
