Hey guys, here are the fixes for version 1.06! (Keep in mind that the file size of the update isn't indicative of how much was changed, or that anything was added, I'm not adding anything new yet) Also... I haven't figured out where to post update notes on Steam officially, but I will figure it out soon. Until then, I'll continue to post here and in changelog.txt in the game's folder!

- Fixed the Torture Chambers black screen bug
- Fixed a bug that made frog cutscenes replay over and over again
- Skipping frog cutscenes now triggers the same value as watching the full cutscene
- 'Cyclops' boss hitbox adjustments
- 'Rock Golem' boss hitbox adjustments
- 'Rock Golem' slam and 'Gumhead' now remove the Crystal Heart in NG+
- 'Apprentice' enemy magic sound effect is now governed by the SFX volume option
- Fixed an out of bounds room in the House of Ruth
- Fixed an out of bounds room in the 100-Year-Old-Man's House
- Removed a keyboard shortcut that replenished 'X' boss' health
- Fixed missing blocks in the cave of "Prologue...?" mode
- Made 'Frost Ape' boss invulnerable to attacks while frozen
STUCK IN SUNKEN TEMPLE? For people who are stuck in the Sunken Temple, you can escape after the fish boss by pressing the "K", "A", and "P" keys together in the room with the switch in it. This will teleport you out of the water so that you can continue. In a future update I will remove this shortcut. Also, the same key combination can be used in the Cave of Serpents (in the path to the Sunken Temple) to get back across the large spike pit, though it can be double-jumped back across.
JOYSTICK ISSUES? For people who are having controller issues, my testers and I have tried wired and wireless xbox 360 controllers, both of which work fine for us, so it's hard to tell why those controllers aren't working for some people. Firstly, you should always plug in your controller and make sure it's on BEFORE running Castle In The Darkness. Aside from that, there are a few fixes that people have found, which can be read about in the other pinned topics on the discussion board. An alternative option is to use a software like xpadder or joy2key, which will require an extra step, but WILL work.
WAITING AT CUTSCENES? I've been speeding up sequences in the game here and there, allowing cutscenes to be skippable and such. This was meant to be a super fast game, so eventually everything will be skippable if the player wants to skip it :).
I will continue to fix as much as I can, so please report bugs if you notice anything. If you do, it's most helpful if you give as much information as possible (computer hardware specs, operating system, the area/room that the bug took place in, etc). - Fixed the bug that was causing some spikes in the Castle Dungeon to load the sprites of the Flesh Eater's body
- Fixed the sequence break of skipping the Blood Rose fight in the Grand Hall in NG+
- Made axe knight and merman always drop their treasure in NG+ if you don't have the item
- Fixed flashing bug that makes screen stay white when fighting Crystal Golem
- Fixed Crystal Golem spawning bug that made the room shake forever and beam remain
- Made first X cutscene skippable
