Только позавчера обозревал памятник Сибелиусу в Хельсинки (очень интересный, кстати).
Вот интересно, я слушал Оркестр Лахти у нас в Питере, как раз Сибелиуса играли. Не произвело никакого впечатления. А здесь в записи слушаю и наслаждаюсь, прекрасное исполнение.
Какая-то загадка. Или, может быть, к нам приезжал какой-то другой состав?
Оркестр Лахти не шибко виртуозный - эту запись спасает творческая студийная работа (вероятно, со множеством дублей). Мне нравится эта запись - здесь Сибелиус мягкий пост-романтик (каким он, вероятно, и является), без интеллектуализма и особых концепций. Финляндия при всей суровости её природы и жителей - страна красивых нежных скандинавских мелодий. Тем не менее, у Сибелиуса в каждой симфонии и поэме есть громовая кульминация, и дирижёр О. Вянске при всей своей мягкости и лиричности умеет поддать жару где надо. В Финляндии этот цикл Сибелиуса оценивается очень высоко. Кроме того, это уникальная возможность послушать невеликие сочинения великого финна и интересные версии нетленок с эффектными неклассическими странностями.
