О Группе
Bright Light Bright Light - это проект Рода Томаса (не путать с Робом Томасом) - вокалиста, автора песен, мульти-инструменталиста и продюсера из Уэльса, Великобритания. Для его стиля характерно смешение клубной музыки и классической любовной лирики. Род имеет свой собственный лейбл Self Raising Records. Также является одним из участников шоу-дуэта Sink The Pink из Восточного Лондона. Газета The Guardian так описывает их творчество: «Вот что происходит, когда Студия 54 приходит на детский утренник в бильярдную на отшибе».
В ноябре 2010 года принял участие в британском турне Ellie Goulding в качестве разогревающего артиста. Выступал на одной сцене с Sound Of Arrows, James Yuill, Dansette Junior, The Hoosiers.
Сделал ряд ремиксов на песни Ellie Goulding, Kelis, Nerina Pallot, Hesta Prynn, The Brute Chorus и James Yuill.
Дебютный сингл ‘Love Part II’ был записан и спродюсирован при участии Andy Chatterley (Kylie, Nerina Pallot, Diana Vickers) и выпущен на инди-лейбле Popjustice HiFi в сентябре 2010 г… В качестве b-сайда на сингле присутствует композиция ‘Cry At Films’, записанная при участии Del Marquis из Scissor Sisters в качестве бэк-вокалиста и гитариста.
Дебютный альбом ‘Make Me Believe In Hope’ записывался при участии Boom Bip и Jon Shave.
Род обожает танцевальную музыку 90-х, его любимая группа - Ace Of Base. В числе исполнителей, оказавших на него влияние, David Lynch, Depeche Mode, Bjork, Kate Bush, Royksopp.
