The Murderburgers are a three piece pop-punk band from Scotland (One from Glasgow, one from the outskirts of Glasgow and one from Bonnybrigg Rock City). Influences are Ramones, Screeching Weasel, The Riverdales, Teenage Bottlerocket, The Apers, Lillingtons, The Queers, beer, lack of money, lack of luck with the opposite sex, being ugly and being seen as weird. Been going since February 2007 with a very different line up, and used to be called The HumpHerHarders for about 2 weeks.
Some facts:
Been through 5 different drummers and 3 different bassists already. Released our first album ourselves in July 2008 and it now unavailable. Which is fine with us cos we don't like it. Somehow managed to share the stage with Teenage Bottlerocket, The Apers, The Copyrights, The Zatopeks and Voodoo Glow Skulls amongst other groovy bands. New drummer Cock is 90% ape and 10% human. Fraser once got caught in a Pengiun Parade at Edinburgh Zoo when he was 2 years old. Tom can play the bagpipes really well. Cock's full name is Cocksucker. Fraser played drums on the new album because the old drummer didn't show up for recording. Tom's dog can't produce tears.
