Описание: После смерти отца молодая женщина вынуждена устроиться гувернанткой в родовое имение, находящееся на острове. Хозяин нанял героиню для воспитания своих племянников — сирот Майлза и Флоры. Очарованная обаянием работодателя, новая гувернантка принимает его жесткие условия — взять полную ответственность на себя и не обращаться к нему ни при каких обстоятельствах. Оказавшись узницей живописного острова, героиня оказывается в плену у тайн, окутавших замок. Дети, поначалу кажущиеся милыми, постепенно преподносят ей странные сюрпризы, а домоправительница Мадо Реми по непонятным причинам настроена против новой воспитательницы. Девушке предстоит узнать жуткую тайну, связанную с предыдущей гувернанткой мисс Джессел, слугой Фоском, и их странным отношениями… с юными отпрысками. Теперь героине придется приложить немало усилий, чтобы сохранить присутствие духа, живя по соседству… с духами.

А, чей-то Вы не упомянули, что :
- это экранизация Генри Джеймса
- что никому неизвестный режиссер Antoni Aloy, один из сценаристов скандального El mar знаменитого испанца Агусти Вилларонга
- да и сам Вилларонга присутствует в фильме, хоть и эпизодически

Так и хотелось бы назвать этот фильм "Триумф духа". Но это уже из другой вселенной(: Это 4-я экранизация "Поворота винта", что я посмотрел и не самая плохая. На самом деле, она очень похожа на другую экранизацию, тоже каких то 90-тых годов. Та тоже была ничего, но там было больше экшена. Зато здесь есть сиськи.
