Bee Gees («Би Джиз») — британская музыкальная группа. Состояла из трёх братьев: лидер-вокалиста Барри Гибба, второго лидер-вокалиста Робина Гибба и клавишника и гитариста Мориса Гибба.
Барри Гибб родился 1 сентября 1946 в Манчестере (Англия).
Робин и Морис — близнецы, родились 22 декабря 1949 года. В 1961 году семья Гиббов переехала из Манчестера в Австралию. В 1966 Гиббы вернулись в Англию, где начали успешную карьеру в рок-музыке (хиты Words и др.). Однако к началу 1970-х гг. пластинки Bee Gees перестали пользоваться успехом.

Among the numerous compilations that exist from the Bee Gees, this set may come across as somewhat sparse, but it still manages to put together a gratifying lineup of some of their best material. Beginning with the plain-spoken soulfulness of "New York Mining Disaster 1941," the tracks flow nicely through the years, from their light pop sound into their most prosperous (and most appealing) disco era. A couple of late-'80s tracks, "You Win Again," from the ESP album, and "Ordinary Lives," from 1989, completes the 12-song set that should be looked upon as a casual collection rather than a definitive one. Tracks like "Saved By the Bell" and "Don't Forget to Remember" are pleasant additions, even if they didn't make Billboard's Top 40, but the absence of such heavyweights as "I Started a Joke" and "How Can You Mend a Broken Heart" would have bulked up the lineup even more so. Nonetheless, nine tracks that broke the Top Ten appear here, and favorites like "Jive Talkin'," "Stayin' Alive," "Tragedy," and "Words" make this abbreviated collection an amusing listen.
