Corrine May (born Corrine Foo May Ying, Chinese: C?? C?? 芸, Pinyin: Měiyún FU) is a Singaporean singer-songwriter based in LA Born January 19, 1973 She has played piano since age 5 and is also with good guitar
Corrine studied in Raffles Girls 'Primary School Raffles Girls' School (Secondary) and Raffles Junior College, she later graduated in Mass Communication and English Literature at the National University of Singapore Corrine left Singapore to further her music education at Berklee College of Music where she studied songwriting and film industry in order to pursue their dreams in music, she moved to Los Angeles in 1999
Corrine co-wrote the song "If you have not Love Me" with the legendary songwriter Carole King ennd Carole Bayer Sager as part of her winning entry in a songwriting competition in the music industry website Tonoscom Carole King & Carole Bayer Sager wrote lyric for the song and entertained submissions for best musical accompaniment and melody Corrine version was the winner song is on Corrine's debut album Corrine has met with Carole Bayer Sager, Carole King, but not
