Но он сам - хиппи и хиппи тоже обожают его музыку и песни. Он выступал даже на Вудстоке в 1994 году. Сотрудничал и совместно выступал с Саймоном и Гарфанкелем. Когда он на patwa ( а я понимаю patwa) рассказывал историю написания своего протестного хита за мир - Vietnam, то рассказал, что после эры ска, когда на Ямайке развивалось рокстэди и скинхэд-рэггей, он был в Англии в движении флауэр пауэр, учил местных рокеров играть ска и тогда у него родилась эта песня, после чего Пол Саймон из Америки позвонил ему по телефону и позвал выступать и Клифф поехал с Саймоном и Гарфанкелем в совместный тур. Точно также он поддерживал первую традиционную скинхэд-группу, игравшую психоделический рок, а не рэггей - Slade. Вообще они - хиппи, но по настоянии продюсера сменили имидж, потому что длинноволосых парней было много вокруг в то время, и все они играли рок для хиппарей и он ради оригинальности решил, что они будут играть психоделический рок для скинхэдов. Джими Клифф знал этих ребят по движению детей цветов и у него была даже совместная с ними фотка. К стати, когда эра скинхэдов прошла они вернулись к своему хипповскому внешнему виду. Я обожаю Джимми Клиффа и я - хиппи. К стати, знаю, что даже у Лоурела Эткина была песня с хипповским лозунгом Stop the war in Vietnam!Ещё обожаю лучших друзейКлиффа Дэррика Моргана и Симарипа, которые входили в круг его друзенй и друзей Боба Марли.
