The band „Die Irrlichter“ will entrance you with music from days gone by and worlds far far away. On reproductions of historic instruments such as Nyckelharpa, Shaume and Bass Lute, they play interpretations of traditional, medieval and renaissance music as well as their own pieces.
The most characteristic feature of their music are part singing, varying solo voices and the way each piece is arranged with loving care. Classical strings enhance the atmosphere of concerts and the have-a-go medieval dancing involves the audience directly in medieval merrymaking.
Each performance is unique, as “Die Irrlichter” have direct audience interaction and tone their performance to the occasion. Period dresses and assumed characters lend the finishing touches to an unforgettable evening.
