What goes around comes around. The respective scions of the Mad Professor and Jah Shaka; Joe Ariwa and Young Warrior join forces, just as their fathers did thirty years ago, to produce mind-scrambling dub in the spirit of collaboration true to the tradition. They outline their plan in the track Youthman Plan (interlude), ribbed by their contemporaries for their devotion to the music of their fathers, not just the music their fathers made, but the classic roots reggae music that inspired them, blended with whatever they choose from their own generation to produce a youthman style dub that can appeal to all. With musical assitance from the great Black Steel, Faya Horns and The Trixters, and including a dub to the recent King Moses single, a hectic dubstepped-up cut to Yabby U’s Jesus Dread, echoes of classic rootical riddims such as Drum Song – on Trip Hop Feeling, Yabby’s Judgement Time also appears as Reincarnated Dub - while dubstep, trip hop and other more recent developments are all blendedinto the mix.
