Super Speedway was originally filmed in the IMAX format and exhibited in IMAX thentres throughout the world. This DVD version of the film, digitally mastered and transferred using the original IMAX film elements, has been produced in a manner that surpasses the highest industry standards.
The IMAX sound components, which include 2 additional language versions, have been specially mixed down to Dolby Digital 5.1 to produce a heart-pounding audio experience in a surround home theatre set-up.
