"In the fog‑shrouded streets of San Francisco, Black Dragon — a cop with a spine of steel and a badge that’s seen too much blood — is on a quest. His oldest friend, an undercover agent, is dead. The official report says «routine assignment». Black Dragon ain’t buying it.
But when he starts peeling back the lies, the road turns slick with trouble. The FBI’s slamming doors in his face. His own precinct’s turning cold, feeding him smoke instead of answers...
Black Dragon gets his answers — one way or another. And the streets got plenty to say..."

Слышали когда-нибудь про блэксплотейшн? Это этнический поджанр эксплуатационного кино, появившийся в США в начале 1970-х годов, ориентированный на чернокожую городскую аудиторию. Само слово «blaxploitation» произошло от слияния слов «black» (чёрный) и «exploitation» (эксплуатация) и было придумано главой лос-анджелесского отделения Национальной ассоциации содействия прогрессу цветного населения... Впрочем, к чему эти ненужные подробности? Главное, что в фильмах этого жанра впервые была использована музыка в стилях фанк и соул. На мой взгляд, именно благодаря музыке об этом киножанре вообще в принципе еще помнят (любителей такового прошу не обижаться - подчеркиваю, это лишь мое сугубо личное мнение).
Куда большей известностью пользовались азиатские фильмы о боевых искусствах - с Брюсом Ли, конечно же, как иначе-то!? Яркий тому пример - "Выход Дракона" 1973 года выпуска. Те, кто смотрели этот фильм, уже возможно догадались, к чему я клоню: в нем присутствуют упомянутые черты блэксплотейшн - узнаваемый саундтрек легендарного Лало Шифрина и чернокожий мастер боевых искусств Уильямс в исполнении актера Джима Келли.
Мой альбом - дань уважения той эпохе. Насколько аутентично получилось, решать как всегда слушателям!
