v0.8.6 - UI Update First new version number! This update focuses on support for making controls more customizable and visible to make the game functions clearer. UI changes:
- The game's 1x minimum resolution has been increased to 480x360 (from 400x300) to support more information on screen.
- The control configuration menu has been overhauled. You can now configure your controls differently for various contexts (specifically, for menus, gameplay, inventory, and adventure modes). You can also change the glyphs displayed for gamepad prompts to suit any gamepad, but you must do this manually. In general, the game uses less buttons overall which should lead to less crowded controls.
- The configuration save file format has been updated to support this new functionality, so your controls will be reset to default the first time you load this update. Be sure the check the options to update your controls.
- You can now access the options menu ingame by exiting any other menus and pressing Esc. (This should work during adventure mode and the mining minigame too.)
- The Enter and Arrow Keys are now available for remapping. If you manage to brick your controls by doing this, you can reset them to default at any time by holding F1 for three seconds.
- By default, the D-Pad can now be used in addition to any directional buttons you've configured. This functionality will be disabled if you bind any buttons to your D-Pad.
- Button prompts are now listed in more places and are more comprehensive.
- You can now scroll through the Special Orders and Requests lists in the pause menu, which will bring up tooltips to identify the items they want.
- Cirno's tips have been moved to a Pause menu tab.
- Cirno's tips menu will now scroll properly.
- The Exit Game dialogue has been moved the Esc menu.
- When buying from a shop, you can now select the quantity first. The "Pick 1" button now has the old buying functionality, so you can still buy one at a time to skip the prompt.
- All shops now display your point counter at the bottom.
- There is now a delay before most repeating inputs to make them less touchy.
- The inventory sort menu has a new graphical appearance. Instead of having dedicated keys, you must use this menu to select "Delete Mode" or "Bless Mode" to perform those actions on items.
- An additional tip explaining how to deliver requests has been added. Adventure changes:
- The Strafe function has been replaced by two other features: Focus and Lock-On.
- Focus reduces your movespeed and displays your hitbox for more careful maneuvering. (Giving Minoriko a different focus shot will be considered later.)
- Lock-On causes you to automatically aim at the nearest enemy. Your damage is reduced by 20% while using this. Bugfixes:
- Fixed most pickled items not being counted in the Spring year 2 seasonal goal.
- Fixed the Casual Winter 2 year 1 scene not playing properly.
- Fixed the player being able to eat arbitrary items by equipping them in the middle of the eating animation.
- Fixed the hoe "weak" animation not displaying upgraded hoes.
- Fixed crops not instantly dying between Winter 11~20.
- Fixed chickens clucking being heard when near their coordinates but not on the same map.
- Softened the "back" SFX after experiencing it with headphones on. (A deeper pass on SFX balance will be conducted later.)
- Added an entry in the options to adjust the ambient sound (bird noises, etc) separately from SFX.

Changelog
v0.8.6b - The Esc Options/Quit menu is now a tab in the pause menu. Pressing Esc brings you to it.

- Fixed watering can upgrades not affecting power usage with magatama skills.

v0.8.6c - Fixed the scrolling of the Tips tab, for real this time.
- Fixed the inventory pointer being in Bless mode upon exiting and re-entering the game.
- Fixed being able to use any item during the seed planting animation by changing the equipped item.
- You can now raise the Pixel Scale one setting larger than your display, which should still be small enough to fix if you do it by accident.
- Chickens now return to the coop properly if you go to sleep before 6 PM and the coop door is open. If left outside overnight with the door closed, chickens will start the day on the tile in front of the coop.
- Chickens will no longer eat or lay an egg if stuck outside overnight. (They still won't die, but they won't be happy.)
- Coops now have little signs next to the door to indicate which number they are. v0.8.6d D is for dummy. - Fixed broken interactions between the existing Adventure Mode and Mining Mode pause menus and the Esc menu. The Mining Mode quit menu (to either leave the minigame or call Momoyo for help) remains separate from the pause menu, while the option to quit Adventure Mode has been added to its Esc menu. The prompts have also been fixed accordingly.
v0.8.7 Today's patch has a lot of nerfs to slow down how quickly the game's economy tends to spiral out of control. Better now than later. CROPS
- Many crops have been rebalanced (via growth times, seed costs, and crop values), using profit-per-day as the primary metric. Regrowable crops in particular regrow slower and are less valuable.
- All crops will now die instantly when more than 10 days out of season, and regrowable crops will immediately be pulled up after one out-of-season harvest. (This is more of a convenience to the player than anything, as they must no longer axe regrowable crops to get rid of them after the season ends.)
- Grass crop seeds are significantly more expensive, and the power cost of using the millstone has increased.
- You can now use the millstone repeatedly and quickly by holding down the Interact button while using it.
- Terraces now dry up faster the bigger they are. At ten tiles or less, they will last 10 days (the maximum number of days between storms), and every five tiles beyond that will make them dry up one day sooner. (For reference, the average number of days between storms is 5.) This is an effort to make building up terraces a more gradual process, as it did not take many terrace walls to cover the whole farm.
- Rice must now be watered. FERMENTING JARS
- Products from Fermenting Jars are less valuable, now increasing the value of the batch by about 10% instead of the previous 33%.
- Batch sizes for jars are more consistent. In general, normal crops require a batch of 3, crops that yield 2~3 per harvest require 5, and large crops require just 1. The value of the product is now scaled to the size of the batch, instead of the other way around. COOKING
- As the prices of many ingredients have been changed, cooked meals have had their recipes and stats tweaked accordingly.
- Power restored is now expressed as a percentage and scales with your max power. (Your max power increases with your Faith Level.)
- Selling cooked dishes is no longer profitable; the value of the dish is simply the total of all the ingredients. This has been done to address the fact that Casual Mode offers an unlimited amount of time to cook, making it both optimal and tedious to cook every ingredient you have. (Because of this change, Suwako's Year 2 Winter seasonal goal will be changed later.)
- Fresh cheese can now be used in place of the cheese from the Miracle Mart in most recipes, if you feel like spending 30 minutes to save a few points.
- Food buffs now last 6 hours (12 with high-quality). CHICKENS
- Increased the value of basic eggs from 50 to 80, and scaled other egg types accordingly.
- The coop menu now has an "Inspect" option to let you view the descriptions of your chickens and their happiness values.
- Implemented a few new recipes using the previously unused special chicken eggs. You will receive the recipes in the mail when you ship the relevant ingredients.
- Mystia now sells chicken feed at her grilled eel stand. (Whether this is intended for her customers to eat or not is up for interpretation.) OTHER FARM CHANGES
- The Inspect tool is now working in a rudimentary way. It works on anything with an item tooltip, and if it's a crop, it will give you some information about how many days left it has to grow, and whether it's withered at all.
- If you don't have a magatama equipped, you can hold down the Use button to swing the Axe or Hammer repeatedly. It will stop automatically when the object is destroyed.
- You can now unequip magatamas in the pause menu by selecting the one you already have equipped.
- The spawn rate for debris on the farm has been cut in half.
- Implemented a few different kinds of flooring, craftable at the work bench. These will prevent debris from spawning. Note: the game does not currently support multiple objects per tile, so you can't put anything on top of this flooring yet.
- Extended the effective range of sprinkler hoses by 1 to reduce confusion about their "max length" description.
- Wood, stone, clay, and chicken feed can now be sold, for a measly 5 points each. (Note: metals cannot currently be sold because they are timegated and a player selling their stack early on may regret it.) FISHING
- Fish struggle mechanics reworked, they now have more unique behavior. Salmon put up a brief but fierce struggle, eels are slow but fight doggedly. Catfish are right bastards. Crucian carp are fairly easy to catch, giving them (and thus Lake Yasaka) a niche.
- Fish that are directly underneath you when hooked get a short initial speed boost to gain a little distance (so that you're not pulling them straight up).
- Once they are fully exhausted, fish on the hook slow down significantly.
- The tension meter is now displayed above the fish, instead of above Minoriko.
- Fish prices have been adjusted upward. With no upgrades you can make about 1000 points off a full power bar's worth of fishing if you're good at it. ADVENTURE
- Wakasagihime's last spellcard is easier now.
- A more aggressive method of culling bullets has been implemented to prevent Wriggle occasionally leaving bullets behind.
- The lock-on crosshairs are much bolder now.
- Added a check to prevent the player from instantly choosing a path because they were standing on it when the stage ended. MISC
- The load game screen now shows the year of each save file.
- Doubled the value of Momoyo's winter mining minigame. Momoyo now also walks to the mine immediately in winter so you can start early.
- Changed the color of the gem blocks in the mining minigame to something different from the actually unbreakable blocks.
- You now have a chance to score drunk crits with the axe and hammer. The Spiked Watermelon greatly enhances this effect.
- Added a few missing winter lines for a few characters. BUGFIXES
- Large rocks and logs now correctly track damage as a whole, instead of in four pieces.
- Fixed the normal quality ingredients not getting used up if a combination of normal and quality ingredients were used for a recipe.
- Fixed not leveling up above Faith Level 10 if you had exactly enough Faith Points.
- Fixed volume settings in options not being set correctly upon loading the game.
- Fixed L1/R1 appearing in the glyph set twice instead of L2/R2.
- Fixed the item popup still showing up when an item fails to get put into your bag (usually because it's full).
- Fixed the tile target indicator not highlighting clay and metal rocks with the hammer.
Обновил раздачу до версии 0.8.7b
Changelog
v0.8.7b - Removed some code meant to stabilize FPS as it was suspected to be causing problems when the game window lost focus. Note that this will cause the game to run at 62.5 FPS without VSync.
- Fixed rice still displaying a puddle as if it was always watered. Corrected the seed description to clarify that it cannot be grown in winter.
- Fixed an error with the Sympathy Chicken that would cause it to only produce normal eggs sometimes.
- Corrected a few outdated Cirno Tips.
Обновил раздачу до версии 0.8.7d
Changelog
v0.8.7c (9/22/25) - Fully grown crop sprites have been touched up with darker outlines to make them stand out more.
- Fixed being able to pick grass crops without the scythe. (Not sure how that happened.)
- To reflect the much lower value of jar products, the Pottery Wheel and Auto-Brewers are cheaper, and Fermenting Jars now require less clay to craft.
- Trying out a different implementation for getting a stable 60 FPS. v0.8.7d Hotfix (9/22/25) - Fixed rice and sweet potato crops being invisible introduced in 0.8.7c. (An outdated version of the sprite sheet with these crops in a different position was used by accident.) Sorry about that.
v0.8.7e (9/26/25) - Fixed the Cirno Tips list sometimes not loading correctly when tabbing left from the Exit Game tab.
- Fixed the sell value of pumpkins. (It was intended to be scaled down in 1.8.7, and all pumpkin products were reduced accordingly, but the pumpkin itself was skipped over.)
- Fixed the Inspect tool's target indicator to only show up on items that can be inspected.
- Improved the randomization of how the Sympathy Chicken chooses which chicken to copy.
- Fixed the Umbrella Chicken laying blue eggs on the day before a rainstorm, instead of on the day of one.
- Fixed feed being added to the coop twice if the player was both carrying feed and owned the silo.
- Auto-Pickers now have a reach of 3 instead of 2 (to create a 7x7 area centered on them). The distance between Auto-Pickers collecting items from each other if priority is set has also been increased to 6.
- Fixed the Auto-Picker Inspect window not working correctly.
- Auto-Pickers have been updated to also pull up out-of-season regrowable crops. In general, Auto-Pickers should now produce identical results to picking crops by hand.
- Auto-Pickers are now updated after daily debris spawning/tile decay, so picked crops will always leave behind a "scrungled" tilled tile. (This will become relevant once fertilizer is added.) This update includes some significant refactoring of the code that updates the farm overnight, let me know if you spot anything unusual. v0.8.7f (10/9/25) - Fixed the player potentially being able to perform invalid actions by changing directions on the same frame the button was pressed.
- Also pre-emptively fixed a similar issue that could have theoretically allowed the player to use grid alignment to move inside a wall.
- Improved collision detection while tipsy. (Somebody figured out how to get out of bounds with it, so drunk tech had to go.)
- Finally fixed the 135 degree moonwalk animation bug, regretfully.
- Fixed Boiled Pumpkin requiring 4(!) portions to eat.
- Fixed Grilled Tomato Steak not having a sell price.
- Fixed Cheesy Cauliflower and Fried Catfish selling for the full value of the ingredients despite producing multiple servings.
- Fixed the Dreaming Chicken only laying an extra egg if you went to sleep before 10 AM instead of 10 PM.
- Fixed the sickle magatamas not equipping correctly in the pause menu.
v0.9.0 (12/13/25) This update isn't quite complete yet - it's being pushed early since the social update is so far behind schedule. The remaining content will be finished incrementally over the coming weeks alongside some other minor features. NEW FEATURES:
- NPCs now have a heart icon to display their friendship level. (Prior to this update, friendship was accrued by talking to them and completing their requests, so if you've been playing your file for a while you probably have some friendship levels already.)
- You can now give gifts to increase friendship, which is performed by equipping the item and talking to them, the same way that you deliver requests. Requests are prioritized. Each NPC can be given one gift a week (a bit flexible); if you try to give them something they don't like, they'll simply refuse it and it won't count towards the limit.
- A context icon for interacting with NPCs has added, which will show if you can talk to them, or if an item you're holding can be delivered as a request or a gift.
- Friendship events for most NPCs have been added, usually viewed by reaching friendship level 1/3/5 and entering a particular map. (Note: If you've been playing your file for a few in-game years you will probably have quite a large backlog of these. Be prepared to get flashbanged with a lot of them in sequence, particularly while entering the town.)
- After viewing their first friendship event, girlfriend candidates (and maybe some others...?) can be invited to follow you into adventure zones and assist you. You can ask them to do so after giving them a gift. NPCs following you will leave when you return to the farm, complete an adventure, or at 10 PM, and will return to their homes for the day.
- Some character art has been replaced/improved. Seasonal outfits are now also supported, but only a few characters have them at the moment.
- Character art also now has expressions, but most dialogue hasn't had them added yet. OTHER CHANGES:
- The player now starts with 9 riceballs in their storage instead of 9 rice bags, since some new players were getting confused and thinking those were seeds.
- Added a sign at the crossroads to indicate which direction the town is in, also to help day 1 players.
- Fixed another instance of the player potentially being able to perform invalid actions by targeting a different tile on the same frame an action is started. WHAT'S MISSING:
- The expanded daily dialogue and schedules that were supposed to be a part of this update aren't implemented yet. These will be high priority.
- The following characters have some friendship events not yet implemented due to related assets or features not existing yet:
-Some events unfinished: Raiko, Kaguya, Ichirin, Shinmyoumaru, Suika.
-No events yet: Eirin, Yuugi, Momoyo.
-Girlfriend candidates will eventually have events at all 5 friendship levels, but they currently stop at 3 while I work out how the whole "dating" aspect should work.
-More variety in conversation themes for events is planned, but my composers weren't available to have them ready for this update. They'll be added as soon as they're finished. Check the discussions boards for more information.

Changelog
v0.9.1 (12/16/25) FEATURES
- Upgrading the sickle now also increases the amount of feed it gathers by cutting weeds, to ease late game chicken upkeep.
- You can now obtain acorns by chopping down trees, or buying them from Yuuka. Acorns will sprout into saplings overnight when planted, which behave exactly like wild ones.
- Yuuka no longer sells rice in winter. (She can keep her shop open since she now sells acorns.)
- Eirin is selling a few new shady drugs.
- A spleen icon will now appear next to your portion icons to indicate when you've used it for the day.
- Buff icons now start flickering when they're about to run out.
- Pickle jar icons now have labels that should make them easier to identify.
- All of Kaguya and Eirin's friendship events are now available, which require the use of certain items they provide to progress.
- Added special reactions to a few gifts various NPCs talk about in their dialogue. FIXES
- Fixed Tsukasa not accepting her favorite item correctly.
- Fixed Mystia and Seiran's stands remaining in place after skipping a cutscene involving them.
- Hid friendship meters on a few NPCs that are not currently friendable.
- Fixed NPCs turning to face the player while delivering requests or gifts when it would cause them to break a pose (standing up in a chair, etc).
- Can no longer give deliveries or gifts to Suika and Yuugi while they're asleep.
- The player no longer sways while moving against a solid object while tipsy. (This is to ensure that fence jumping works properly.)
- Fixed a few broken tiles in Upmountain.
- Fixed a number of text errors. KNOWN ISSUE
- A player has reported an incident of the wrong maps being displayed during a cutscene, which I have been unable to reproduce or figure out. If this happens to you, please visit the bug report thread and provide as much information as you can. v0.9.1b Hotfix (12/16/25) - Fixed the player's sprite disappearing during spell cards in adventure mode.
- More text corrections. v0.9.1c Hotfix (12/18/25) - Fixed a crash when starting a new game.

Обновил раздачу до версии 0.9.2
Changelog
v0.9.2 (12/24/25) - Added all friendship events for Yuugi and Momoyo (all characters now have at least one).
- Planted acorns are now drawn below other sprites properly.
- The Inspect tool now works on acorns and saplings, displaying their growth progress.
- The Yama Chicken is now properly implemented (since you can give gifts now).
- Followers no longer "walk" while using the downmountain cliff shortcut.
- Re-added some extra sparkles to the completed fermenting jar animation (that seem to have gotten overwritten at some point).
- Adjusted the positioning of portraits to make better use of wider screen widths.
- Fixed an error in the Faith Level Up display if meeting the exact Faith XP threshold while above level 20.
- Fixed Sakuya being invisible in adventure mode if Momiji was brought previously.
- Fixed the requests list in the pause menu sometimes being scrolled incorrectly if accessed via the community board.
v0.9.3 (2/2/26) FEATURES
- NPCs now have different schedules each day of the week, with some variations for winter or poor weather, and many new animations. The old schedule mostly remains the same on Monday, which the game begins on.
- Some minor map adjustments have been made.
- The HUD and some other UI elements have been adjusted to show the day of the week.
- Most shops are now closed on Sundays. (Mystia is open Mon/Wed/Fri/Sat, Seiran is open every day.) You can still enter the buildings for now, even if nobody is at the register.
- There is a new mob tengu NPC to take Momiji's place when she's not at the guard station.
- The amount of daily dialogue has been doubled. NPCs have different seasonal lines starting year 2.
- Finished adding the new NPC expressions to old dialogue.
- An ingame map has been added that shows the current position of all NPCs. (You may want to check your control configuration to confirm which button the map is assigned to.)
- The map also allows fast travel via flying to most outdoor areas. In Serious Mode, it costs a few minutes to use it based on distance traveled.
- There is a simple calendar in the player's house now. NOTE: Although a few hours were spent following NPCs around to test the new schedules, they may still have some buggy scheduling that wasn't caught. Please report any awkward-looking behavior, such as walking in one direction and then doubling back, walking through walls, seemingly talking to someone that isn't there, or displaying any animation errors. Please also report any formatting issues with the new dialogue, as not all of that has been tested ingame either. Thank you! NOTE 2: If continuing a save file previous to this version, you may have some weeds/branches/etc left over in certain tiles where they no longer appear. To avoid errors the new version leaves them intact; simply clear them normally and they won't respawn. FIXES
- Fixed Grand Patriot Elixir explosion possibly being triggered by any food. (The intended behavior is that it has a small chance to explode on the second and third dose that day, and will always explode on the fourth.)
- Fixed income sources other than selling items not applying correctly to the Year 1 Winter seasonal goal. v0.9.3b Hotfix (2/3/26) - Fixed an issue where selecting a fast travel location and then canceling would fast travel anyway after quitting out of the map screen.
- Fixed unloaded NPCs being displayed at the top left of the map.
- Fixed some visual garbage on the magatama shop menu. v0.9.3c (2/5/26) - Fixed a bug where NPCs would walk offscreen while attempting to path into a nearby door.
- Fixed many NPC scheduling mistakes.
- NPCs now have a few extra moments to move before the day starts to prevent the player from catching them out of position with casual fast travel.
- NPCs will now pause to avoid walking on top of each other when headed in the same direction. (This also allows NPCs to follow each other more closely, such as Sakuya following Remilia, without risk of overlap.)
- Fixed the end of day screen to show the season and weekday in the date.
- Adjusted many sound effects, generally making them less sharp.
- Fixed the screen temporarily turning black after changing VSync options mid-game.
- Attempting to plant a tree seed on a tilled or flattened (but not terraced) plot now works, and will simply remove the tilling.
- Made the focus hitbox dot more visible in adventure mode.
- In adventure mode, while lock-on is toggled, if there are no valid targets the crosshair will be shown ahead of Minoriko to better communicate that it's still active.
- New feature! If you've upgraded all six tools to silver, you'll receive a letter indicating that you can now sell silver in the shipping box. The same also applies to gold. (Selling these upgrade materials is initially disallowed because they are currently timegated and a player may regret selling them after discovering this.) v0.9.4 Pest update! (2/18/26) SERIOUS MODE FEATURES
You'll now have to contend with the following threats to your farm if you're playing on Serious Mode!
- Crows may appear overnight to eat your crops! They begin appearing once you have enough crops planted, and more will appear as your farm grows. Crows are stopped by placing scarecrows (the area of effect is displayed while placing them). They can attack terrace crops, so be careful.
- Rabbits will appear at the same time as crows! Rabbits also go after your crops overnight, approaching from the edges of your farm. Rabbits are blocked by fences. They also can't get past terrace walls or coops.
- If a crow or rabbit successfully gets into one of your crops, even more of them will come the next night. Fix the problem right away!
- Weeds can now kill your crops! If a weed sprouts adjacent to one of your them, you'll have a few days to remove it before it has a chance to spread into your planted tiles.
- Fences have a small chance to be damaged by bad weather. They'll still keep rabbits out, and you can repair them just by hitting them with your hammer. But if you haven't fixed them by the time the next storm comes around, they'll be destroyed for good! OTHER FEATURES
- Chimata will now appear as a traveling merchant in Downmountain on days after it rains. She sells a random selection of high quality items with variable prices, copper nuggets at a premium (the amount scales with your number of generator upgrades), and sometimes a random Rare Hat. (Note: Her selection is likely to change throughout development as more objects are added to the game.)
- Scarecrows can now be placed in terraces (not on the walls though), which will help keep crows away from them.
- Scarecrows can now also be equipped with Rare Hats! These provide a passive bonus to your farm and can be randomly acquired from either adventure zones or bought from Chimata. Rare Hats will last about a season or two before they disappear overnight, at which point you'll need to find them again.
- Loaches will now sometimes spawn in your terraces if there are crops growing. They can be caught by targeting them with the fishing pole and caught instantly.
- A tiny C or S icon has been added to the HUD to indicate whether you're playing in Casual or Serious Mode. (This information wasn't yet displayed anywhere in the UI.) FIXES
- More NPC scheduling fixes and improvements.
- The fishing rod's tile target indicator is more accurate.
- Made some improvements/fixes to scrolling on the Tips screen.
- Fixed NPCs prioritizing situational dialogue over their shop interface.
- Fixed Mike opening Kourindou's shop interface instead of the bar while working there on Sundays.
- Fixed saplings planted from seeds not having collision unless the game was saved and reloaded. Also, a DEBUG FEATURE is being made temporarily available:
- By holding left shift and pressing F2, you can toggle a fast-forward mode that causes the game to run at up to 500 FPS (you probably need to disable VSync for this to work). This is being offered as assistance to my testers and other helpful players that have been doing bughunting on my behalf.
