Trifonic - Parks on Fire (Scott Pagano) [2008, IDM, HDTVRip]

Parks on Fire is a short graphic film creation of digital artist Scott Pagano with a lush cinematic soundtrack by Trifonic. The piece is an exploration of the complex, interpenetrated, and reflective relationships of structure, form, and motion that both bind and conflict the natural and manmade worlds. The experience is a visual and aural expedition through a series of uniquely explicated environments. Sound and image drive each other to create the uncanny sense that both are emerging from the same dammed-but-divine ethereal engine. The epochal rolling waves of harmony and disharmony incessantly crash only to recombine the elements of natures surreality with the creations of man’s syntheticism to form our next fleeting “reality”. The effect is one of technological fear yet wonder, spiritual unease yet solace, and ultimately a feeling of hope born from the beauty of it all.
Scott Pagano is a filmmaker, motion designer and spatial reconstructionist. He is a leading edge exemplar of the current digital vanguard reinventing the fine art as well as pop art worlds. His motion art works and music videos have been screened in venues ranging from, movie theaters, fine art galleries, international film and music festivals, and MTV. Working with some of the most innovative artists in the Music and Film worlds, Scott has created abstract and conventional digital artworks that push the boundaries of audio-visual composition and process combining a dynamic mix of cinematographic and synthetic imagery. The narratives streaming in his video artworks lay the foundation for the storytelling of a new age.
Trifonic is brothers Brian and Laurence Trifon, a San Francisco based electronic act that seamlessly fuses experimental production wizardry with beautiful melodies and traditional song structures to craft music that is simultaneously unexpected and accessible. On their 2008 debut album Emergence, Trifonic combines elements of downtempo electronica, IDM, post-rock and classical music to create a deep, lush musical experience distinctly their own.
