вспоминаю далекий 73 товарищ привез катушку в пионер лагерь был еще пацаном и в первые услышал Look at Yourself Я был просто поражен что такое можно придумать ,а от Байрона Я просто балдел теперь мне 56 а впечатление тоже осталось ,спасибо раздающему .

В 1975 году, на волне популярности, "Uriah Heep" работали безостановочно, как заводные зайчики на батарейках. По прогнозам менеджера, Джэрри Брона, они должны были выступить перед миллионом зрителей и налетать 50 тысяч километров. Не пугал ребят ни зной, ни буря, не страшны им были ни вал девятый, ни холод вечной мерзлоты, ни даже - производственные травмы. На концерте в Луизвилле, в американском штате Кентукки, Мик Бокс упал со сцены и сломал себе лучевую кость на правой руке. А у гитариста в правой-то руке - там же вся техника! Концерт Мик доиграл кое-как, на коньяке. А потом решил и гастроли доработать. Два раза в день ему меняли гипсовую повязку, а перед выходом на сцену делали три обезболивающих укола. Вот это вот человек. Послушаем сейчас композицию "Traveller In Time", взятую с живой концертной пластинки, записанной в 1973 году. Мне мама всегда говорила: "Больше всего, Севушка, бойся человеческой зависти, страшная это штука!" Некоторые говорят, что и революцию в основном из зависти сделали, а в тридцатые друг на друга из зависти анонимки писали. Вот эта самая черная зависть понемногу стала отравлять атмосферу в "Uriah Heep". Казалось бы - чего делить? Успех, богатство... Это так бедные люди думают. Богатый сразу прикидывает - у кого денег больше? Какая бы концертная ставка ни была, а больше одной в день не заработаешь. А вот авторские - другое дело. Как говорил мой приятель: "Автор спит, а к нему летит пятерочка с Дальнего Востока!" Самым плодовитым автором в "Uriah Heep" был, конечно же, Кен Хензли. "July Morning" это его песня. Джэрри Брон всегда делал предпочтение ему, чего бы Кен Хензли ни принес, давай на пластинку. А Джэрри Брон был худруком, главным продюсером, его слово было решающим. По этой и разным другим причинам, бунтовали музыканты против броновского авторитета. И, чтобы отдельных зарвавшихся товарищей проучить, Джэрри Брон умышленно устранился от продюсирования следующей пластинки: мол, коли такие умные, так давайте сами, без меня, посмотрим, что из этого получится. Следующую пластинку продюсировали сами, с двумя техниками. Альбом "High Аnd Mighty" - на ней еще револьвер с крыльями по небу летит - вышел в свет в июне 1976-го и, как говорится, приварился мордой об терку. В английском хит-параде он появился всего на одну неделю на более чем скромном 55 месте. Если учесть, что газеты публикуют только первые 50 мест, то даже этот факт до широкой публики не дошел. "Это самая плохая пластинка "Uriah Heep", - любил потом говаривать Джэрри Брон с законным чувством глубокого удовлетворения. Еще одной причиной для внутренних трений было поведение Дэвида Байрона - вокалиста. Он и раньше был не дурак выпить, но - после концерта, на работу всегда появлялся трезвым. Как это с пьющими часто бывает, кировое время постепенно растекалось у него по циферблату, захватывая и рабочие часы. Был, например, такой случай: Филадельфия, 20 тысяч человек. Пьяный Дэвид выходит на сцену, наступает на микрофонную стойку, она ему бьет по губам. Толпа вопит, Байрону спьяну кажется что над ним смеются. И он в микрофон, на всю сотню звуковых киловатт материт честную публику. Кен Хензли не выдержал, терпение его лопнуло, он хлопнул дверью, оставил гастроли и улетел в Англию. Джэрри Брону пришлось прервать свой отпуск на острове Барбадос, лететь на встречу с Кеном и убеждать его, чтобы он остался. Ну, Хензли остался, но разрыв между вокалистом и остальными участниками группы увеличивался безвозвратно. Есть такая хохма: если водка мешает работе, брось - работу. С Дэвидом Байроном это произошло не в шутку, а всерьез. У него, конечно, были на это свои психологические причины: его гастрольная рутина заедала, ему казалось, что группа остановилась на месте. И потом из бесед с Миком Боксом недавно на гастролях я узнал, что они работали столько и в таком напряженном режиме, что просто не видели семьи свои месяцами. Все это конечно накапливалось. Конфликт нарастал и в июле 1976-го, по окончанию гастролей в Испании, Дэвид Байрон был уволен тоже решением Джэрри Брона. Через некоторое время он собрал свою команду под названием "Rough Diamond" - т.е. буквально "Неограненный алмаз" - так по-английски называют сырой, необработанный талант - потом выпустил два сольных альбома, но все - без особого успеха. Байрон тихо сошел на нет и последней вспышкой газетных новостей стала его смерть в феврале 1985 года. Он умер от инфаркта, Дэвиду Байрону было 38 лет.
