Minus the Bear - инди-группа из Сиэттла, штат Вашингтон. В состав команды входят бывшие и нынешние участники таких известных команд как Botch, Kill Sadie, These Arms Are Snakes и Sharks Keep Moving. Их выделяет оригинальная техника игры на гитаре, изысканная (не побоюсь этого слова) схема построения музыкальных композиций, и использование клавишных. Название группы происходит от шутки, возникшей среди участников коллектива касательно ТВ-шоу B.J. and the Bear. В послужном списке команды - три ипишки, три полноформатника, один ремиксовый сплит и ремиксов.
в 2006 году из группы уходит Мэт Бэйлс, клавишник и продюсер по совместительству. В последствии он был заменен Алексом Роуз, который раньше сотрудничал с командой в качестве звукоинженера.
