Описание: Музыкальный фильм, ставший классикой жанра. Да что там, просто легендой... Снятый Аланом Паркером в 1982 году, он является экранизацией одноимённого альбома Пинк Флойд 1979 года. Шаг за шагом, наблюдая поток детских воспоминаний и пугающих галлюцинаций, мы погружаемся в сознание Пинка — рок-звезды, чей внутренний конфликт и нетерпимость приводит сперва к социальной, а затем и к психической изоляции. Фильм полон глубоких аллегорий, в нём, как нигде, удачно сочетаются кинематография и анимация.
Сценарий к фильму был написан басистом группы Роджером Уотерсом (Roger Waters, он же был и основным автором одноименного альбома, выпущенного в 1979 году). Картина рассказывает о жизни и судьбе рок-звезды Пинка, и о «стене отчуждения», отгораживающей его от всего остального мира.
