Guy Mansur and Shay Pure are the leading players of Smooth withsupporting accompaniments by several key Israeli and international artists. Smooth's production is an indisputable juxtapose of live instrumental brilliance and sophisticated electronic funk. The sheer drama of life's melancholy moods oozes through the musical seams of the album. Band founders' Guy and Shay shared their first musical alliance working on a movie soundtrack in Tele Aviv, Israel. Guys' previous media work and his history with the electro-synth group 'Atmosfire" was the perfect compliment to Shay's thriving DJ career. The success of their collective musical compositions for the film inspired the two to collaborate on an album project. Together their style recreates the urbane musical genres of trip-hop, soul, jazz, downbeat, chill-out and rock. Delicate melodies entwine with tender vocals and abstract guitar riffs for an explosive finish.
