Эдди "Зэ Чиф" Клирвотер (Eddy "The Chief" Clearwater) - это сценическое имя Эдварда Харрисона (Edward Harrington).
Eddy "The Chief" Clearwater родился 10 января 1935 года в Майконе, штат Миссисипи. Его семья переехала в Бирмингем, Алабама в 1948. Он сам научился играть на гитаре в раннем возрасте и и начал выступать с различными христианскими группами, в том числе и с Five Blind Boys Of Alabama.
