Хорхе Луис Борхес, автор фантастических новелл, рассказчик притч, творец уникальной литературной реальности. Борхес родился в 1899 году в Буэнос-Айресе в семье адвоката, занимавшегося помимо частной практики преподаванием психологии, переводами и литературным творчеством.
Борхес получил домашнее образование, его воспитанием занималась няня-англичанка. Доп. информация: Помниться когда в 1984 года в серии"мастера современной прозы " вышел сборник рассказов Борхеса. Один мой знакомый сказал что один рассказ Борхеса стоит как минимум всего Дюма. Возможно немного преувеличино но очень близко к истине. На мой взгляд начитано исключительно хорошо.
