X4: Foundations — это продолжение серии космических симуляторов, в котором вы сможете исследовать вселенную, управлять не только космическими кораблями, но и целой звёздной империей, сражаясь, торгуя, и развивая свои владения. В игре бесшовное перемещение между различными классами кораблей — можно покинуть корабль, пройтись по доку огромной космической станции и занять место пилота в новом корабле. Когда вы накопите достаточный капитал в череде сражений и торговых сделках, то вы сможете влиять на галактическую экономику. Стройте модульные станции, которые легко и увлекательно проектировать с помощью мощной системы-конструктора. Космические корабли так же можно совершенствовать: улучшать двигатели, вооружение, защитные системы и многое другое. Вас ждёт наиболее проработанная и глубокая игровая вселенная в истории серии, где одновременно развиваются все звёздные империи.
Особенности:
- возможность управлять любым кораблём: игра позволит сесть за штурвал любого корабля — от самых малых разведчиков, различных кораблей среднего класса и до огромных крейсеров
- при создании игры большое внимание было уделено быстрому и лёгкому перемещению между вашими кораблями: вы можете покинуть корабль, спуститься по трапу, пройти по доку огромной станции к другому припаркованному кораблю и заменить пилота, приказав уступить вам кресло управления
- модульные станции и улучшения кораблей: основой игр Вселенной Х всегда было строительство космических станций, после накопления достаточной суммы денег на торговле или сражениях, многие хотят начать влиять на экономику игры, а также её Вселенную в более значительных масштабах: станции могут быть построены из разнообразных модулей, будь это модули производства, жилые комплексы, доки или любые другие виды построек — новая система управления картой поможет Вам с лёгкостью строить и соединять различные модули, создавая уникальные станции
- большое количество улучшений кораблей: все двигатели, вооружение и многое другое оборудование может быть добавлено в графическом редакторе
- первая игра серии X, которая позволяет любым игровым расам и фракциям строить и развивать свои империи без ограничений: им доступна та же свобода в строительстве модульных станций, что и вам — расы расширяют свои империи, основываясь на спросе и предложении, что ведёт к очень динамичному развитию Вселенной, когда любое ваше действие может привести к глобальному изменению
- руководство империей с помощью продвинутой карты: когда у вас появится достаточное количество кораблей и экипажей, то карта будет главным помощником в управлении ими

- самая детальная проработка экономики в серии X: всё производится из ресурсов: корабли, вооружение, боеприпасы и станции — абсолютно всё появляется согласно модели симуляции экономики

На видеокартах, у которых меньше 2 Гб видеопамяти, принципиально не запускается, выдавая ошибку Couldn't allocate heap. Предполагаю, при старте игра пытается захапать всю видеопамять целиком.
Хорошо что сперва проверил на пиратке, не пришлось возиться с возвратом в стиме.

Землю по сюжету опять потеряли, еще в прошлой части (точнее - между позапрошлой и прошлой). Откуда корабли? А сплиты в DLC будут, оно еще не вышло.

Жаль. Землянские корабли, по крайней мере м3, м3+, были самые мощными в классе. Кроме них неплохие истребители были только у сплитов. У боронов - мрак, у тэлади - ползучий мрак. У арагонцев не рыба ни мясо. У паранидов - недосплитские и переаргонские. Но фрегаты, по моему, лучшие паранидские. Хотя сплитские быстрее и вооруженней, плюс форма проэкция меньше. Но со щитами там мрак... а значит на ремонт денег не хватит...

Большое спасибо за это обновление, но не могли бы вы опубликовать английскую (или даже французскую !! :p) озвученную игру? Или, может быть, несколько необходимых языковых файлов на сервере прямой загрузки?
Что касается самой игры, то в одном из комментариев GOG упоминается необходимость зарегистрироваться в учетной записи egosoft, чтобы иметь возможность улучшать игровые предметы или повышать уровень экипажа. Может кто-нибудь подтвердить?

Какая-то дичь была при установке (аддон не видел игру), установил в разные папки и потом просто вкинул содержимое папки аддона в корневую папку игры... Но, запускатся не хотим.

Да вот только бяда, свежие amdgpu-pro с оффсайта не ставятся (dkms failed for running kernel). Самое внятное, что посоветовал Гугл - не рыпатся и пользоваться дровами из коробки

Ох и высокий же "порог вхождения" в этой игре. В интерфейсе и управлении без пол литра качественного бурбона не разобраться
Одно радует - нет лагов, фризов или проседаний FPS. Идёт игра чётко и красиво на "не кошерной" RX570
