In 2011 Chamorro was asked to find the musicians and direct the big band that would play a tribute to Miles Davis: it was 20 years of Davis' death. They would just play for one night, a unique concert at Barcelona's Apolo.
The production, recorded here, was called after Miles Davis' and Gil Evans' Sketches of Spain (1960), and was meant to be a hommage to the prince of darkness.
