Pedro Celestino Fariñas, natural born “rumbero” brings his second production in solitaire “Fariñas el Rumbero”, on where he gives an authentic simple of “rumba de solar” (Cuban party style) with a talented group of percussion players. Fariñas remains the same after he experience with the band Muñequitos de Matanzas, where he was a voice solista. He is the rumba man besides the master Chavalonga that are still in a privilege place into this genre and plays in parties and all kind of “Bembés” religious and not religious celebrations. His unmistakable and torn voice colour, gives to his rumba a today’s no ordinary sound. The repertory is composed by classic and new tracks as: “Drume Negrita”, “Babalú”, “Canto a Celia”, “Mulato Rumbero” that make of this work and authentic rumba festival.
