О группе
Les Friction — независимая музыкальная группа, возглавляемая Helmut Vonlichten, Nihl Finch и вокалистом Paint.
Helmut Vonlichten ранее сотрудничал со своим братом Franz Vonlichten в их cinematic music проекте E.S. Posthumus до его распада 22 мая 2010 года. Причину распада команды E.S. Posthumus ошибочно приписывают смерти одного из участников — композитора, музыканта и продюсера Franz Vonlichten (настоящее имя Jeffrey Pfeifer), но на самом деле это псевдонимы и "умер" (покинул "этот мир" = мир проекта) лишь его персонаж в проекте, о чем его брат Helmut Vonlichten (настоящее имя Robert Pfeifer) и сообщил на их сайте, но незнающие о псевдонимах фанаты восприняли это буквальной смертью. Фактически же прекратилось сотрудничество братьев в виде их компании музыкального продакшена Pfeifer Broz. Music (примеры работ вконтакте), которая работала напрямую с киностудиями, а потому гораздо менее известна, чем E.S. Posthumus, являвшийся публичной стороной их сотрудничества (т.е. это как Immediate Music и Globus), распад которого стал лишь следствием. Robert ушел в мейнстримовый арт и собрал группу Les Friction, а Jeffrey продолжил творить в киноиндустрии с новым напарником Evan Frankfort, переименовав продакшн-компанию в Pfeifer Frankfort Music Group (примеры работ вконтакте, примеры работ на YouTube), творчество которой ближе к стилю E.S. Posthumus.
Погиб. Franz Vonlichten, настоящее имя Robert Pfeifer. А источник моих строк выше — просто перепутал имена и их псевдонимы.

Les Friction held a contest in which contestants called their local radio stations to request "Torture". Whoever requested the song the most won the contest. The prize was to name one of the group's upcoming songs. It was announced June 1, 2012 that Hakeem Wilson was the winner.
On June 15, 2012 the song named by contest winner, Hakeem Wilson, was released. It was named "Who Will Save You Now".

«For about a solid 5 hours, I was stuck on: "Go tell the world", "Who will save you now" , and "I'm still alive". After a bit of thought, I've decided to name it "Who will save you now". К сожалению да, ребята увлеклись "модными тенденциями"... И даже спектры с бандкемпа такие порезанные (проверил релиз собственной покупкой, как-то не верилось).

Для тех, кто уже качал альбом
Создайте новую папку раздачи "Les Friction - Discography (WEB) [24-48]", затем переименуйте папку альбома в "2012 - Les Friction" и поместите в папку раздачи, перехешируйте торрент, докачайте остальное.
World on Fire вне конкуренции, конечно. Радует, что весь альбом в таком же стиле.
Напоминает одновременно эпичные трейлеры (аля two steps from hell) и rhapsody of fire, только les friction как-то помягче, что ли.
