Line-Up: Daiana Zagaglia - Vocals Fernando Pizarro - Guitars Ivan Da Ros - Bass Gabriel Di Fini - Keyboards Diego Davidson - Drums Dark Whisper is an Argentine opera gothic metal band formed in the year 2006 in Ramos Mejía neighborhood, province of Buenos Aires. The band's first lineup was composed of two guitars, a keyboard, a bass, drums and one lead vocalist. The first concert took place during said year in Ciudad Autónoma de Buenos Aires in September. Towards the end of 2006, the lineup changed to become what we know today as Dark Whisper.
The band has performed with many bands within the Argentine scene, such as Dominus Inferi, For Everness, Tengwar, Taija Rae, Skiltron, Eydillion, Solsticio.
Due to the fact that a monthly rehearsal schedule has been achieved, the band has become well-known in many places and to many audiences. Among others, within the western part of Buenos Aires, Dark Whisper has performed in Club de la Cerveza, Luks, Club CIR, Arlequín, El Galpón. In C.A.B.A., on the other hand, La Colorada, Asbury, Acatraz, Unione e Benebolenza, ND Ateneo, Estadio Obras, The End, Teatro de Flores, and others.
Between the years 2008 and 2009, Dark Whisper has performed as opening band of four international artists: November 2008, (in N/D Ateneo Theater), Paradise Lost show (in its 20th anniversary) and (in Obras Stadium), Nightwish concert, achieving great success with the audience as well as with the critics' reviews. May 2009, (in Teatro de Flores) Tarja Turunen's show and September 2009, (in The End) Stratovarius' concert.
Moreover, the band has performed in different cities within the province of Buenos Aires: Rosario and Mar del Plata. In 2010, Dark Whisper will travel to Chile and Brazil to perform its first CD release concerts.
Dark Whisper is enriched by varied influences which provide the band with a unique style within the opera gothic metal.
