We are thrilled to offer this 2-CD Deluxe Edition of one of Michael Kamen’s action masterpieces – Die Hard 2: Die Harder. We are on the cusp of beginning our 35th anniversary celebrations for 2013 but thought we’d get the party started early with this special release of a Kamen classic. A more-varied and free-handed score than the first Die Hard, Michael Kamen pulled out all the stops and went for it. He even threw in a fabulous ode to Sibelius by incorporating the thrilling Finlandia.
Bruce Willis returns as the heroic cop who battles not only terrorists, but also an incompetent airport police chief (Dennis Franz), the hard-headed commander (John Amos) of the Army's anti-terrorist squad and a deadly winter snowstorm. The runways are littered with death and destruction, and McClane is in a race against time. His wife (Bonnie Bedelia) is trapped on one of the planes circling overhead, which is desperately low on fuel. It's all-out war, a heart-stopping, jet-propelled journey filled with excitement and terror.
Snow will soon be falling over much of the world, which makes it the perfect time of year for Die Hard 2!

HOLLAND'S OPUS, THE IRON GIANT) full-throttle orchestral score to the 1995 Twentieth Century Fox blockbuster DIE HARD WITH A VENGEANCE, starring Bruce Willis, Samuel L. Jackson and Jeremy Irons, directed by John McTiernan. Long overdue, Michael Kamen's final, sensational DIE HARD score comes roaring back to life in an explosive deluxe version that runs over 2 full hours, greatly expanding its original 1995 soundtrack release with a new presentation worthy of the composer's masterful work. Kamen's score is presented here as initially composed for the film, giving listeners a chance to hear material that was ultimately not used in the final version of the movie. Produced by Nick Redman and Mike Matessino, produced for Sony Music by Didier C. Deutsch, and mastered by Mike Matessino, this special release is limited to 4000 units and features plentiful bonus tracks as well as exclusive, in depth liner notes by film music writer Jeff Bond.
