'Hillbilly Safari' is Satellite V's 3rd album and was presented at Wintersun 2002. It features originals including "Ganymede Baby", "Hudson Sled", "Fruit Fly" and "Hillbilly Safari", and renditions of Merrill Moore's "Bell Bottom Boogie", Roy Hall's "Three Alley Cats", Carl Perkins' "Pop let me have the Car" and Big Joe Turner's ever great rhythm & blues rocker "Honey Hush". There's a total of 14 tunes on this great new album.
Indeed, this third release is more hillbilly than the first two albums, but strangely enough, it's not less rockabilly. Instead of "wild and rocking", this platter is more like "cool and thumping".
