Сначала появился студийный проект известного ди-джея Джона Дигвида (John Digweed) и студийного маэстро Ника Мюира (Nick Muir). Это было давно - в начале 90-х, первый же их трек "For what you dream of..." моментально стал классикой прогрессив хаус музыки. Спустя несколько лет, их очередной хит "Heaven scent" уже вышел на собственном лейбле Дигвида - Bedrock. Это был первый релиз лейбла и именно он задал музыкальную политику лейбла. Позднее лейбл стал настоящим "диктатором " в сфере прогрессив-хауса. Судя по релизам этого лейбла можно с уверенностью предсказать веяния прогрессив танцполов мира. На Bedrock вышло большое количество пластинок, с треками ранее мало кому известных людей, вроде Рэнделл Джонса (Randall Jones) или Юнуса Гювенена (Yunus Guvenen). Вообщем можно сказать что Bedrock - это своеобразный, доступный для многих, андерграунд танцевальной музыки.
На лейбле также выходили миксы таких людей как Крис Фортье (Chris Fortier), Джимми ван Маленгхейм (Jimmy van M) и Джона Кримера и Стефана Кей (John Creamer & Stephane K).
Помимо основого лейбла, также работает лейбл Bedrock Breaks, где выпускается брейкбит. Также некоторое время существовал Bedrock Black, где издавалась очень мрачная, и, по настоящему андерграундная музыка.
