I refer to variants by their main names but ignore the numerical size–related appendages, such as “30” in Variable Oil Pastel 30. At the end of Chapter 1 I expand on my comments and suggestions about some of the brushes (the Cloners, Impasto, Image Hose, Liquid Ink, and Watercolor).
