I followed the instructions in the link to edit the file and the library couldn't be added as others also mentioned (or wasn't visible as when I tried again it said that it is already added) and when I loaded the instrument via the "files" it always said "DEMO" (free Kontakt player 5.6.5). I lost more than three hours trying various things, like correcting the path for the instruments which was wrong, etc.
If it was so simple, why didn't you provide the necessary .nicnt file? Talk about lazy hackers!
