SAM1776 is still here in Kansas City, and the technology they were working with in the 1960s and 1970s has essentially not changed. Record companies have had no interest in improving analog sound since the CD was introduced in 1982. Now, with the push toward AI, there are even more problems, as analog music is being re-encoded using AI, permanently altering the sound I remember.
Another major turning point was the introduction of Wi-Fi in 1996. That marked the day analog music effectively died. Once analog music is introduced into a Wi-Fi listening environment, the sound becomes digital. My brain does not recognize or accept digital music, which is why I developed a method that uses digital only as a container for analog frequencies.
This is why my master-tape uploads contain no noise while all musical frequencies remain intact. This approach is intentional. What has happened is a deliberate attack on real music, and I am not fooled. I continue to upload the true sound of master tapes as they existed before the digital revolution—one that nobody asked for.
