После применения лекарства обязательно необходимо перезагрузить комп (читай readme_SSQ.txt)

Hello,
I could use a little help.
I've always been able to install NTOP, but I think I skipped a step, because even though I deleted it and reinstalled it properly, it's asking me for a login and password.
Internet Off, of course.
I suspect that Windows is keeping the installation error somewhere.

No, this also happens with the last version I tried to reinstall, 5.30.
It's as if the uninstallation was incomplete... I also tried to create a Windows restore point, but nothing worked... I'm open to any solution.

After cleaning the system register and before installing the new version of the program, it is necessary to delete the nTopology folder with traces of the old version of the program at:
С:\Users\<your computer name>\AppData\Roaming\nTopology

not <your computer name> but <your user name>
but it is easier to enter the Windows Explorer: %appdata%
this will immediately open the folder: С:\Users\<your user name>\AppData\Roaming

Всем кто интересуется топологической оптимизацией настоятельно рекомендую освоить соответствующий модуль от Altair.
Модуль входит в пакет Altair Inspire 2025.0 Win64, выложенный eJonny:

Пакет чрезвычайно прост в освоении (даже проще чем APM FEM в KOMPAS-3D) и не такой "замороченный", как nTopology.
Правда более ограничен по функционалу по сравнению с nTop.
Провел сравнительные расчеты в этой проге детали "Балка консольная" (см. статью https://disk.yandex.ru/i/pEz-DJYzuRxo_w)

Результаты практически идентичены расчетам в APM FEM, т.е. математический аппарат один и тот же.
Правда в сравнении с nTop результаты отличаются особенно при 3-х осевом нагружении.

Despite following the good advice and emptying the Windows registry and deleting the folder, I'm still stuck.
To clear the registry, I use CCleaner Pro... Any help would be welcome because I'm desperate.

2. Clean the registry (in Registry Editor delete all links to nTopology)
3. Delete the "nTopology" folders in <Program Data>, in <Program Files>, in <Roaming> (see above).
4. Install new version of nTopology, following step by step the instructions in the folder <_SolidSQUAD_> (see file readme_SSQ.txt)
That's all, and there's nothing to add to it.

There's a free portable version of Revo Uninstaller that likely will do a good job with this (if you can get to it from your locality) especially if you set the agressive scan option. You can always go though everyhing manually afterward to see if it missed anything! Jusst saying...

I'm sorry, but I didn't recommend any registry cleaning software. Personally, I clean the registry manualy, i.e. I delete links to nTopology in the Registry Editor "by hands". This is the easiest and most reliable way.
