Опера в четырёх действиях с прологом
Либретто Владимира Бельского по одноимённой сказке А. С. Пушкина.
Премьера «Сказки о царе Салтане» состоялась 21 октября (2 ноября) 1900 года на сцене московской частной оперы — Товарищества Солодовниковского театра. Дирижёр — Михаил Ипполитов-Иванов.
В конце августа 1911 года император Николай II с семьёй и приближёнными, в том числе и со Столыпиным, находились в Киеве по случаю открытия памятника Александру II. 1 (14) сентября 1911 года Пётр Аркадьевич Столыпин ,был убит на спектакле «Сказка о царе Салтане» в киевском городском театре.
Пролог
В деревенской светлице прядут вечером три сестры и мечтают, что бы они сделали, кабы стали царицами. Одна - приготовила бы пир на весь мир, другая - наткала полотна, а младшая, Милитриса, - "для батюшки-царя родила богатыря". Лишь сказали, входит царь Салтан и велит всем собираться во дворец. Быть Милитрисе царицей, сестры станут поварихой и ткачихой. Завидуют сестры Милитрисе, подговаривают сватью бабу Бабариху накликать беду младшей сестре.
1 действие
Прошло время. В царском дворце в Тмутаракани Милитриса ожидает возвращения Салтана с войны. Гонцы посланы сообщить царю радостную весть о рождении сына Гвидона, но нет ответа от Салтана. Не подозревает Милитриса, что злые сестры подменили письмо и послали свое, где написали царю, что Милитриса родила "неведому зверушку". Долгожданный гонец привозит указ, в котором Салтан велит "и царицу и приплод в бочке бросить в бездну вод".
2 действие
Пывет бочка по синему морю, в ней подрастает царевич Гвидон. Волны выбрасывают бочку на берег острова Буяна. Пусто вокруг. Одни на острове Милитриса с сыном. Вдруг видит царевич в небе Лебедя. Птица пытается спастись от коршуна. Царевич стреляет и убивает его. Лебедь-птица обещает царевичу отплатить добром. Наступает ночь, засыпают мать и сын, а проснувшись, не могут глазам своим поверить. Пред ними чудный град Леденец. Вокруг народ просит царевича стать их князем.
3 действие
Гвидон правит в Леденце. Все бы хорошо, но злая тоска мучает его. Хочет он по-бывать на родине, увидеть отца. Идет он за советом к Лебедю-птице. Велит Лебедь Гвидону трижды окунуться в море. Превращается царевич в шмеля.
Царские палаты Салтана. Царь потчует корабельщиков, рассказывающих ему о дивном городе Леденце, где правит Гвидон, о чудесах этих краев. Собрался было уж Салтан поехать посмотреть на чудеса, но его пытаются отвлечь сестры Милитрисы с Бабарихой рассказом о другом чуде — прекрасной царевне, которой и в Леденце не сыскать. Летающий рядом шмель жалит злых теток со сватьей и улетает.
4 действие
Царевич Гвидон потерял покой и хочет найти прекрасную царевну, о к-рой услыхал у Салтана. Зовет он Лебедь-птицу на помощь. Готов искать царевну он хоть за "тридевять земель". "Нет, зачем искать далёко? Та царевна - это я!" - молвит Лебедь-птица, превратившись в красавицу-царевну. А утром к морю приходит Милитриса и радостно благословляет молодых.
На остров приезжает царь Салтан. Дивится он на три чуда Леденца. Но самым удивительным оказывается то, что находит здесь он свою жену и сына. Царь прощает на радостях сестер с Бабарихой. Начинается пир на весь мир.

Раздайте, пожалуйста Скачалось! По сути, единственный нормальный источник "Салтана" на Рутрекере.
Даже просто в аудиоформате нет ничего хорошего, только 2 старые записи какие-то, середины прошлого века, которые слушать не могу.
Кстати, эта постановка в репертуаре Мариинского театра есть и сейчас. Искренне рекомендую, я однажды видел - в восторге. Никакая запись не сравнится с живым спектаклем.
Как,оказывается,сложно воспринимать традиционного Салтана после спектакля Чернякова. Просто как в Золушке -карета опять обратилась в тыкву.Ушел весь скрытый смысл ,вся тайна,которая в его постановке подняла эту оперу на уровень Китежа . Проснулся,а перед тобой снова землянка в виде Ирины Чуриловой с ее колхозным голосом . И Шагимуратова,которой здесь можно дать все 55. А ведь как она пела в Руслане у того же Чернякова. Вот такая,понимаешь, загогулина. Хотя,наверное,сравнивать их нельзя - Черняков поставил оперу по своей сказке о царе Салтане.
