Проверял на раздаче, где я единственный сид с помощью сервиса http://www.zxcfiles.net - запускал раздачи в клиентах по очереди.
Ограничение скорости в обоих клиентах отключено.
Тикса в самом деле «долго запрягает».

С бухты магнет-ссылки качает, хорошо.
Подскажите, как в этом клиенте минимизоровать нагрузку на жесткий диск, какие настройки выставить, чтобы побольше информации держалось в кэше (не windows-ом, а программном, в памяти) и обращений к жесткому было поменьше.

Tixati version 2.51 is now available. December 21, 2016
This release contains several very important bug-fixes:
- fixed multiple problems with tracker connection header formatting
- sequencing of config file saving and overwriting is now handling orphaned temp files properly
- fixed problems overwriting temp config files during load error recovery
- download completion commands should now work correctly
- minor issues with peer selection have been fixed
- numerous other minor problems throughout the program due to an issue with a recent build-chain upgrade have been fixed

Вообще то Sparse по умолчанию.
И во всех методах жуткая фрагментация, даже в Full Pre-Write 7000 фрагментов на 7 Гб файл (на NTFS диске 340 Гб свободного места, все дефрагментировано и сгруппировано в начале). Поэтому нет смысла выбирать что-то отличное от Sparse (default), все равно потом дефрагментировать придется. Только utorrent умеет нормально файлы распределять.
И еще не нравится, что последовательная закачка не совсем последовательная, даже в Aggressive. Tixati разбивает на группы по 5% (значит на файл 20 таких групп) и в пределах группы качает не последовательно, а вперемешку.

По моему Sparse и Fast Allocate одно и тоже. На Fast Allocate файл тоже разреженный создается. На SSD я не качаю, так как размеры не те, а на HDD Full Pre-write не юзабелен вообще из-за начальных тормозов.

Если редкое, то особого выбора (в торрентах, по-крайней мере) не будет и по качеству.
Насчёт бита в минуту, ситуация знакома, когда пытаешься стянуть аниме 80-ых с одного несчастного японца, который ведёт раздачу с дедушкиного калькулятора через ил и место первого медного, и уже наверняка сгнившего, трансатлантического кабеля.
Вопрос качества, опять же не стоит, если надо, то очень.

This fixes a crash upon startup that was occurring in alpha-1 when loading channels with one or more ignored users.
There have also been some minor adjustments to the channel connection share-syncing protocol for smoother operation.

We have devised a decentralized forum feature for the Channels. You can find it in the channel tabs. It lets any user that has permission to share links and text in a channel to also add messages to the forum.
Forum messages stay visible regardless of whether the author is online or offline, as long as sufficient time has passed for the message to propage to the other peers in the channel. The messages are stored as directives in the channel Share data, and can also be manually removed by editing the Share data.
Forum messages can be deleted by the author at any time. This will orphan replies, if there are any, but they will still remain visible (although they can be hidden locally via an option in the Layout menu.)
Private messages can also be exchanged, and are encrypted via the recipient's public key. Private messages otherwise are only visible to the author and the recipient, and the recipient identity can not be determined without either side's private key.
There has also been work to the channel connection protocol. Member-syncing is now more refined and will not waste time and bandwidth syncing non-sharing offline members. Also the local purge preferences are forwarded so that the remote will not send offline member sync hashes for users that would be purged anyway.
Several other minor optimizations have been made in the channels to help reduce CPU usage and RAM allocation.
Some of the basic GUI components have had minor fixes and updates applied, especially in Linux builds.
Depending on how testing goes, we may introduce additional features shortly.
Please thoroughly explore the new features and let us know in the forum if you find any problems.
New alpha releases may happen quickly, so check this page often.

Several fixes have been made:
-fixed crash in forum treeview during thread collapse on Win10 machines
-winapi build now uses a deferred selection change notifier in treeviews to reduce GUI overhead
-fixed crash after uncaught serialization format exceptions while parsing very long forum messages
-fixed problems with general-purpose compressor/uncompressor that would cause internal formatting errors in messages that compress to over 32KB
-leading/trailing whitespace trim in forum msg entry fields
-added new profiling hooks to several channel procedures, and added new detailed Channel profiling chart to Help > Diagnostics
-automatic user share segment layout routines have been revised for better behavior with very long lines (eg. forum messages)
-local share message caching now works from end to beginning, allowing quicker updates when new links are added or forum messages are created
-per-channel chat text entry back-buffer, up to 5 deep
-fixed minor problems with IP-filter reload decompression when unexpected trailing newlines are present after gz section

There has been a major overhaul of the new channel forum system to support a full range of moderation features and several new event notification options.
Forum messages can be approved/disapproved by a channel mod simply by right-clicking. This will issue a command message that changes the status of the target message. Command messages are hidden from view by default, but can be shown using an option in the layout menu.
The layout also has new options to toggle the visibility of approved, unapproved, and disapproved messages. These options are available to all users in the channel, but the default is to only show the approved messages. This allows the moderators to create a filtered view of the forum for general reading, but also prevents opaque censorship at the per-message level. The only way to fully eliminate shared information from a user, including their forum messages, is to set their permission level below normal or ban them completely.
By default, messages are auto-approved. However, to achieve a pre-moderated forum, the minimum user access level that has it's messages auto-approved can be raised. In the channel information, add the directive ##forum:aal=mod to make all new messages from non-moderators unapproved by default.
The sound notification and tray icon notification systems have had major work, and now include many forum-related events and options.
There have also been several other major optimizations inside the channel objects themselves to improve performance CPU-wise. In particular, incoming connection setup and routing are much more efficient than in previous versions. Also, the routines that parse and fill mirror directives in channel info/member share have also been re-written for greater efficiency.
Several other minor channel-related UI refinements have been made, both in the standard and classic layouts.
We are still working on a few other minor issues with the channels and will be releasing another update soon.

This is a major upgrade with several important fixes and improvements.
All channels now have a fully decentralized forum that is available next to the Chat tab. Messages are organized into a threaded view, numerous layout options are available, and a full set of moderation controls allow the channel's operators to maintain their forum. Private messages between users can also be posted and are encrypted against the recipient's public key.
Other aspects of channel operation have been greatly improved as well. Shared user data, such as links, text, and forum messages, are now automatically segmented with a much more intelligent algorithm, which minimizes the bandwidth used to propagate changes when a small amount of content is added to a large shared collection. We have also spent a lot of time and effort working on the channel connection to connection protocol so that synchronization of user data is much more reliable and efficient.
There have also been numerous improvements throughout the core framework that underpins the entire program. We have made several fixes and improvements to our cross-platform native GUI toolkit, and have also made performance-critical optimizations in some of the core string-processing and encoding routines that are relied upon throughout the app.
More improvements are on the way.

Уже вышла версия 2.53.
Перешел на нее, мю-торрент надоел своей рекламой да и забанил его на рабочем ПК 
Попробую эту версию, пока что-то раздачи не отдаются совсем.

Если DHT было отключено и не стояла галка Включить DHT для новых торрентов - надо включить его в ранее скачанных торрентах вручную.
Наши сервера сейчас блокируют по указанию РКН

Да, DHT включено. Показывается, что несколько сотен DHT-узлов онлайн. Но за двое суток раздалось только 1-2 Гбайта, а было на порядок больше с uTorrent-ом. Пока не понимаю, где копать.

Дык там практически всю рекламу можно отключить в настройках, кроме саморекламы платной версии. Или использовать старые версии без рекламы.

Спасибо за ответ.
Просто в начале недели у меня еще была возможность использовать мю-торрент, с меня качали со скоростью 1 мбит/с (смотрел в реальном времени за процессом сидирования).
Сейчас с Tixati практически ничего не отдается. Максимум 1,5 кбит/с. Понаблюдаю еще, если ничего не поменяется - буду изучать матчасть дальше.

Если в очереди несколько закачек, стартую - все. Как сделать, чтобы качало только по одной, а след. начинала только как закончила предыдущая?

Tixati: как сделать групповой перенос раздач в другой каталог?
После смены системы у меня изменился путь к части раздач. Менять пути в каждой раздаче вручную неправильно и очень долго.
Как можно это оптимизировать? Даже не представляю себе, где tixati (торрент клиент) хранит пути.
так же мне приходится держать под wine utorrent, потому, что я не знаю, как мигрировать раздачи оттуда.

Вот это основной вопрос - как разобраться в настройках? Когда же сделают толковый перевод? Многие непонятки именно из-за его отсутствия.
У меня новая Tixati v.2.55, второй день; пока вполне доволен. Стараюсь не трогать те настройки в которых не уверен.
Почитав выше сказанное ,понял, что многие недостатки в новой версии исправлены.
Сравнивал с uTorrent скачивая одни и те же файлы (файлы тяжёлые, без источников). Так вот, то что не смог скачать uTorrent, Tixati v.2.55 скачал. Мне он показался пошустрее.
Эта версия такая же лёгкая и не жрёт ресурсы, как и uTorrent. В общем, первое впечатление самое хорошее.

Да, спасибо. Но есть нюансы.
Качает 1-й, 2-й - в очереди. На 1-м пропали сиды - 2-й не стартует.

- fixed problems with display of time remaining while seeding to a ratio limit
- fixed problems with optional display of base-1024 units
- fixed sorting problems with the time left column and recently stopped transfers
- increasing/decreasing the font size via the tray menu should now work correctly on all platforms
- numerous other minor GUI tweaks and adjustments, including some icon refinements
- updated the IP-Location tables

Посоветовали этот клиент как замену Мю, так как не грузит процессор и т.д. Поставил, долго разбирался, где у него что, где метки ставить, где рейтинг показывает, как отсортировать по рейтингу (нет у него такого видимо). Еще понял, что он не умеет удалять раздачу и торрент сразу.
Скажите, кто разбирается в качалках, этот клиент в целом лучше МЮ, меньше ресурсов жрет? А то каких-либо удобств в нем я не вижу. Очень долго думает, прежде, чем показать, что качать будет.
