La sevdah est une musique traditionnelle de Bosnie-Herzégovine remontant à l’époque où l'Empire ottoman régnait sur les Balkans. Son nom, tiré de la langue turque, signifie "état d'extase amoureux". La diva du genre, Amira Medunjanin, ouvre ce concert, accompagnée du pianiste franco-serbe Bojan Z. Ils opèrent à cette occasion une fusion inédite et brillante entre jazz et sevdah, soutenue par les tonalités orientales des musiciens turcs Ufuk Kaan et Emin Esen. Deux grands musiciens serbes, Nenad Vasilic à la contrebasse et Bosko Jovic à la guitare, complètent la formation. C’est ensuite au tour de la sensation Halka d’entrer en scène : quatre musiciens exceptionnels entourant un chanteur unique en son genre, Bozo Vreco, dont les interprétations vibrantes d’intensité laissent le public... en extase.
