Somehow both more aggressive AND more atmospheric than MS's first record, but with the same tightly-focused musicianship and production. I especially love the drums and gapless flow. As for the concept behind the music: the "crystal tree" is to me something like the ancient metaphor of Indra's Net. Each person's mind is a crystal which can only reflect all the other crystals, and realizing how interdependent self-nature is leads us to transcend our humanness
