to have mods in quake one replace the orginal files with these, the config file is located in the id1 folder

A = Fly mode *its like super jump with super low gravity* be spider man lol you must jump with LT for this to work after activation of lt button
B = Gode mode *you can't die*
X = All weps and items *if you're running low on ammo, you can also click this agin to refill ammo
Y = Noclip *you can walk through walls, *not fly like in newer games*
