The story of SANHEDRIN started in the late 80's when Aviv and Sagi, two Barness brothers, started being interested in progressive rock music. After a certain period of being a CAMEL cover band, they started doing their original material: their sound is heavily rooted in classic prog, often symphonic, but with a fresh modern approach and plenty of elements of psychedelia and space rock, art rock and folk. Sanhedrin as we know it today was formed around 1998. After a turbulent decade of line-up changes, the band released their 2011 debut 'Ever After' with Aviv on keyboards, Sagi on bass, Gadi Ben Elisha on guitars and Igal Baram on drums. Guest musician was Shem-Tom Levi on flute, renowned for his work with KTSAT ACHERET and SHESHET.
