Треклист:
Chapter 1: A Long Time Ago ("20th Century Fox Fanfare" / "Star Wars Main Title" from all of the films)
The first segment starts off with some behind the scenes pictures of Lucas and Williams throughout the entire thirty year span of their collaboration. The rest of the footage is a collection of the defining moments from all five of the films that have been released. This serves as a great primer for the rest of the videos.
Chapter 2: Dark Forces Conspire ("Duel of the Fates" from The Phantom Menace)
Here we're treated to what is without a doubt the best song Williams has come up with for the entire prequel trilogy. The video is made up of footage from The Phantom Menace, but there's also a good deal of action from Attack Of The Clones. Star Wars duels are always enjoyable to watch.
Chapter 3: A Hero Rises ("Anakin's Theme" from The Phantom Menace)
Set against the emotional theme of the kid-who-would-be-Vader, here you've got clips of Jake Lloyd from Episode I. Personally, I love the shady allusions Williams put in this song, hinting at the dark destiny in the boy's future.
Chapter 4: A Fateful Love ("Across The Stars" from Attack of the Clones)
I, for one, really like this song. However, when you put it against scenes with Anakin and Padme, from Episodes I and II, you're reminded of just how passionless their relationship feels. Seeing scenes of them as children, then adults, is a bit weird I'll have to admit.
Chapter 5: A Hero Falls ("Battle Of The Heroes" from Revenge of the Sith)
This is the piece that was released on the internet not too long ago. I think it's great; it makes for a perfect teaser and it's a much better trailer for the film than the real trailer. Footage is exclusively from Revenge of the Sith with bits from the previous two installments at the end. If you haven't seen it yet, don't worry, there aren't any spoilers. I found the whole thing very exciting.
Chapter 6: An Empire Is Forged ("The Imperial March" from The Empire Strikes back)
If this music video doesn't give you goose-bumps then I don't know what will. Not only do you get a great rendition of "The Imperial March," but it's played against all of the hardcore Vader moments from the original trilogy. In addition, you get some attractive production paintings scattered throughout.
Chapter 7: A Planet That Is Farthest From ("The Dune Sea Of Tatooine" / "Jawa Sandcrawler" from A New Hope)
All Tatooine, all the time. It's here that you realize that these movies really do spend a lot of time on this one planet. This is probably the first video that isn't as exciting as those that came before.
Chapter 8: An Unlikely Alliance ("Binary Sunset" / "Cantina Footage" from A New Hope)
This is mainly footage of Luke with a lot of Mos Eisley Cantina bits at the end. The editors made some interesting cuts here, you get some quick scenes of a young Anakin Skywalker fighting, then cut to Luke saying he wants to "become a Jedi, like my father." It makes you think how if things had been a little different, Luke could have ended up like Anakin or vice versa. During the Cantina sequence the whole thing gets a bit too goofy. The editors took cutouts of concept art for the aliens and have them sliding across the screen like some sort of silly flash animation.
Chapter 9: A Defender Emerges ("Princess Leia's Theme" from A New Hope)
This piece certainly picks up the pace. Leia is beautiful, strong, and one heck of a woman. This sequence is a tribute to the Princess and it made me fall for her all over again. Err... I mean, it's got nice art. This segment probably has the most concept art out of all of the chapters; you get a lot of pans across various pieces of artwork. I found this chapter to be one of the stronger ones.
